Indoor Play Areas

DFWMetroplexMommy is under construction.  Expect a more organized structure and a few more places to go very soon!

Rainy days, blistering heat, cold and windy days that turn your bones to ice... of course you don't want to go to the park.  Or maybe you do.  In any case, if you would like to stare at another set of walls other than your own, I have a few suggestions.

ALWAYS BRING SOCKS TO PLAY AREAS!  Many places have rules about Socks Only.

Check the websites for closings or events.  The places without links have a phone number provided.

Mall Play Areas

Northeast Mall Hurst Simon kidgits area- in the Nordstrom Hallway You can also join simon kidgits club for $5 a year, you get a goodie bag, a t-shirt, access to events, and you can spin the wheel every time you visit the mall for kiddie prizes:)
Ridgmar Mall Fort Worth This mall has a great kiddie play area, a carousel, coin operated kiddie rides, a fountain with a bridge, and a choo choo train that takes kids on trips around the mall. Only the play area and fountains are free, but a great place for kids! Also the food court has little mini tables for little mini people :)
Hulen Mall Fort Worth Small Play Area*
La Gran Plaza Fort Worth I don't know if it has a toddler area, but it has bouncy houses and such and you can even host birthday parties here!
Southwest Center Mall Dallas Play Area
Golden Triangle Mall Denton Play Area
Valley View Mall North Dallas This mall is very slow, making it a great place to enjoy a play area that is not overcrowded.
Galleria Dallas North Dallas This place is great!  It was, however, very busy.  Valley View Mall is just across the street and not nearly as rowdy.
Parks Mall South Arlington Play Area
Vista Ridge Mall Lewisville This play area is supposed to be pretty cool.*
Collin Creek Mall Plano This play area is clean, nicely spaced out and amazing! Coin operated kiddie rides just outside the enclosed area, and around the corner, there is one of those jumping contraptions that looks like a lot of fun for kids that are a little bigger (than toddlers)
Irving Mall Irving Simon kidgits area – see info about simon kidgits club at northeast mall listed above
The Shops At Willow Bend Plano Play Area
North Park Centre Plano Events, Bookmarks, etc.

A few places that aren't free:
I go places that are free and low cost, so my list of places to pay for play is relatively small.  And no I did not put in Chuck-E-Cheese.  You already know about it.
